THE GREATEST THING IN LIFE

 There so many things seeking our attention on earth but there is one great thing we must get hold on.This world is not a playing ground but a school of training. It is not a place of enjoying holiday pleasure, it is a place to be educated, we are all students in the world because we gain new knowledge everyday as we open up ourselves and become teachable.You can only grow by giving yourself open to new ideas.

What we were told or assumed as the greatest thing in life to run after are things that does not last.They are: money, fame,friends, family, property, profession,beauty,etc.All these are good to have but they don't last forever.
No one can tell us with authority what is the greatest thing on earth than God who created us. God rule the world by his law and he shew us what is the greatest thing in life as in Matthews 22:35-40 and it was shown clearly here as the greatest law namely LOVE
God gave us the 10commandments because then we didn't know what was essential but Jesus came to open our eyes that we may see and understand God and know how he wants us to live On earth,God discovered that it was becoming so difficult for man to keep the 10 commandments but now asked us to do one thing and if we were able to hold on to that one thing we will be able to be in the good book of God as we will be able to keep his law..
Note that Paul who wrote about live in 1 Corinthians 13  was not an epitome of love ,he had his hands soiled with blood of innocent Christian.
WHAT THEN IS LOVE?
simply Love is God himself 1John 4:8
HOW DOES LOVE FULFIL THE 10 COMMANDMENTS:
If a man love God, he will not be told not to have another god besides God ,If you love God you will not defile his name, if you love God it won't be difficult for you to give up one day in a week to worship him.
If you love your neighbour, you will firstly honour your parents, you won't kill your neighbour, you won't steal from him. With love it will be easy to live in peace on earth.
To measure the quality of your claim that you are a Christian serving God will be measure by the quality of love you display towards God and men.mathews 5:43-48
Whereever there is love, the presence of God is always visible there.
Love is a universal language understood by everything living on earth no matter your colour,your race,your belief, even animals understand the language of love.
It may take you years to learn the language of others but a day that a child is born into this world he understood the language of love.
Love is a virtue which can be learn and practice by everyone in every places of life.
9 INGRIDIENTS OF LOVE:
1. Patience
2.kindness
3.Generosity
4.Humulity
5.Courtesy
6.Unselfishness
7.Good temper
8. Guiledeness
9. Sincerity
Check where you are and cultivate it and appropriate it into your life.
