HOW TO PRAY AND GET YOUR PRAYERS ANSWERED.

 For our daily prayer to be answered we must understand the principles of God.

As you know, God is not a democrat but a man of war.His kingdom is operated on principles.When you work according to the principles your daily prayer will be answered.

Proverbs 15:8 said ( The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the lord,but the prayer of the upright is his delight).

James 5:16b said ( ...the effectual fervent prayer of the righteous availeth much).

From these two quotations we could see some principles namely : UPRIGHT, EFFECTUAL, FERVENT,RIGHTEOUS.

We will look into some of these principles and then offer our daily prayer to God and see miracles of answered prayers.


We are still on how to get our daily prayer answered. I  know everyone desire Answer when you ask for anything from God and He is always willing and read to grant our request if we ask according to his principle. You must understand that prayer is not magic, it is not abracadabra.There is a principle for it.

One of this principles is righteousness.. proverbs 15:29 says "the lord is far from the wicked but he heareth the prayer of the  righteousness." So I want you to know that the main reason why anyone can be refer to as a  Christian is righteousness.so righteousness is the basis of our living.  God said to Joshua In Joshua chapter 1 verse 8 " this book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shall meditate therein day and night,that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein,for then thou shall make thy way prosperous, and thou shalt have good success, so to prosper and have good success we must do according to the law of God, which means we must pay attention to the bible which is the book of the law of God.
So what is righteousness ? 
Righteousness is acting in accordance with divine or moral law free from guilt  Or sin?
It is right doing.
  You know there is a deception in the heart of man As it is written in Romans chapter 3 verse 10 to 12 There is none  righteous, no, not and verse 23 of that Romance chapter three said " all have sinned,and come short of the glory of God, there is none that doeth good, no,not one".
So majority of people are deceiving themselves concerning the Condition of their heart they do not realize that the natural heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked.They wrap themselves about their own righteousness and are satisfied in reaching their own human standard of character.We can not meet the requirements for the righteousness of God by ourselves. We may measure ourselves by ourselves, we may say we do as well as this one or that one but God judgement will be based on if:
*we meet the claims of high heaven
*we reach the divine standard
* our heart are in harmony with the God of heaven
There never was a time when it was so important that we, the followers of Christ should study the bible as now.
WHY?
Because deceptive influences are upon all sides and it is essential that we counsel with Jesus our best friend so as to know the right way to follow and the right prayer to offer that will be acceptable unto God.How shall we understand what we are to do in the midst of this perverted generations if we do not understand the word of God, that is the Bible, in it we discovered that :
*our duty is made plain
*Everything relating to religious life is presented in a definite way
*Where the whole plan of salvation and helps to the soul are pointed out.
*The way in which the believer may be completed in Christ Is unfolded.
Isaiah  64 verse 6: said. "But we are all as an unclean thing and all our righteousness are as filthy rags and we all do fade as a leaf and our Iniquities like the wind,have taken us away".  So there is no way We can be truly become righteous on our own.
How then can we become truly righteous? The righteousness of God. Is embedded in Christ, we  received righteousness by receiving him. To become righteous is to believe in Christ. In Genesis chapter 15 verse 6,it stated " Abraham believe in the Lord. and  God counted it to him for righteousness." You can read also further in Romans chapter four verse three , Galatians,Chapter three verse six, James 2:3. So true obedience is the outworking principle within. The essence of all our  righteousness is loyalty to our redeemer, and this will lead us to do the right thing because he, Jesus is right, he is always doing thing pleasing to God.
So it is through Christ we can be made righteous with God. Romans chapter five verse 19 said. " For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners,so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous."
For us to  Pray and God answer our daily prayer We must do what the lord demand, The lord demand for  righteousness.
And the question is that, are we capable of becoming righteous on our own? The answer  is Capital No,the only  way we can attain to righteousness is through faith,by faith we can bring to God the merits of Christ and God places the obedience of his son to our account.
Christ righteousness is accepted in place of man's failure and God receives, pardon,justifies the repentant, believing soul, treat him as though he is righteous, and love him as he loves his son and will go from grace to grace, from light to a greater light.
We can confidently say as in Titus 3:5-7" Not by works of righteousness which we have done,but according to his mercy,he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost which shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our saviour that being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life."

WILL GOD ACCOUNT US RIGHTEOUS IF WE DO NOT FORSAKE OUR SINS?

Isaiah 55:7 " let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts and let him return unto the Lord and he will have mercy upon him and to our God for he will abundantly pardon".

The righteousness of Christ is not a cloak to cover unconfessed and unforsaken sin.

It is a principle of life that transforms the character and control the conduct.

Those who are breaking the law of God and teaching others to break it will not be covered with the garment of Christ righteousness.

Jesus came not to save men in their sins, but to save men from their sins. 1John 2:3-4 " And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandment, he that said, I know him and keepeth not his commandments is a liar and the truth is not in him".

Mind you, we are looking on how we can be confident that when we pray, God will answer us without any delay as long as we pray in his way.

THE IMPORTANCE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS IN OUR DAILY PRAYER LIFE.

* It brings us closer to God as it enhances fellowship with the Almighty God.

*There is power and authority in righteousness as it gives victory in battles.

*It always bring God's presence and brings about boldness.                                  The other things needed for your prayer to be answered are Faith, believe and joy.Whenever you have prayed to God even if you have not received the answer or you are not sure God is going to answer keep on praising him and never exercise doubt in your heart, let God do what he has decided to do, when you keep on praising him, it is a challenge that he can not deny his name, even though he did not answer you the way you expected he will give you an answer far better than what you have asked for.
