DAILY PRAYER

  Many Christians do no longer understand the effective way of praying to receive answer because the atmosphere has been bombarded with prayers from Satan ordained men and women of God. Those who knows and suppose to lead the people of God in the right way has suddenly joined the bandwagon in order for their followers not to abandon them and some were usually criticizing every doctrine because of their educational background without teaching what is the right way, they gradually fall to the trap set for them by Satan, because it is written in (Revelations 12:10) “And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, now is come salvation and strength and the power of his Christ, for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night” they keep on Criticizing without teaching the right way that is a hypocrite, In the area I come from in Nigeria, it is said if you want to take something from a child, you will give him another thing in replacement, with this the child will forget what he was holding on to earlier. Most prayer that attract people nowadays are prayer that emphasis the more on the power and the work of Satan rather than the goodness of God. I attended a certain church in Nigeria for a certain period because I watched the preacher preaching the truth, but it was shocking that on getting there, the doctrine was more of fears than that of boldness, you must be careful to shake people's hand, so they don't transfer evil power to you, if you attend any church apart from theirs, you must go for deliverance prayer because it is believed you must have come in contact with power of darkness. I saw myself becoming afraid of so many issues, no more freedom. But One faithful  day my wife  heard a voice saying " see a lion clinching like a rat, you are a lion" .She looked around and saw nobody, she told me what she heard, instantly I know God was saying something to us. I asked myself what is the essence of me serving God and be afraid of power of darkness, my presence alone should cause panic in the camp of the power of darkness's. If I shake hand with the agent of the devil, the evil spirit in them should cry out, that is who you are in Christ.From then my spirit was liberated from fear, it is written in John 8:32  " And ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free".


I am not saying to you that there is no power of darkness, I come from a town in the western part of Nigeria where witchcraft operations is practice in the open where power of darkness operate freely, even a child in primary 3, you can't look down on them if Christ is not in you, so I am not speaking from a place of ignorance or denial but from practical place of understanding, there is a power in you that is above that of evil power, when you operate in that power all other powers bow before you. If I share some of my encounters with this dark power in the past, you will ask me how did I survive.


God didn't want our prayer to him to be from the angle of fear or desperation, but from the angle of what he has done. Philippians 4:6 “Be careful with nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with Thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God” David said in Psalm 119:164 "Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgements".


By the power of the Holy Spirit, henceforth I Will be dropping here daily prayers according to the word of God. And as you open your spirit to the truth, you will achieve the purpose you are created for by God.


Let us start today's prayer as we read Psalm 1.It is a prayer of blessing. The greatest blessing we can have is the blessing of knowing Jesus Christ.


PRAYER


1.  Father, I thank you for the great blessing shower upon me and my household for knowing your son Jesus and the power of his resurrection.


2. I thank you, Jehovah, for the grace upon my life not to walked in the counsel of the ungodly nor stand in the way of sinners in Jesus name.


3. I give you praise because my delight is in your word and I will meditate on it day and night in Jesus name.


4. Thank you, my God and my father, for planting me like a tree by the rivers of water.


5 In thy name of Jesus Christ, I will bring forth my fruit in its season.


6. I declare that my leaf also shall not wither, and everything I lay my hand upon shall prosper in Jesus name.


7. I shall not perish with the ungodly in Jesus name.


8. Today, oh God, show your light on my parts that I will not walk in darkness in Jesus name.


9. Thank you, my God and my Lord for this is a new beginning of greater relationship with you without fear or anxiety for you are in total control of all that concerns me.


Go in peace and conquer.
