DAILY PRAYER

 As a Christian, we must be very careful with how we display our knowledge of the word. There is a very tining silver line between knowledge and pride.dont be swept of your feet by elegant proclamation of the word by the craftman.who as a result of their educational background disapproved to the simplicity of the gospel.There are so many rough-  hewn language of ordinary people and the stylistically incorrect gramatical ruled several, of which are found in the book of Revelations.These should not trouble us.For they do not affect the truthfulness of what is written in the bible.A statement can be ungrammatical according to current standard of proper grammar rules but still contain the entire true.. Most of the time the greater percentage of corrupt people in the world are the elite,the educated one,the uneducated people in some rural area may sometimes be most trusted people even though their grammar are poor. James 4:6 " But he gives us more grace,that ís why scripture says God oppose the proud but gives grace to the humble" 

I had encountered with a colleague of mine in secondary school of recent,who is now a pastor and founder of a church,also a state  secretary of Christian association of Nigeria ( CAN ) in one of the state in Nigeria.He is so proficient in spoken English and was ditching out the word of God with eloquent grammar and as a theologian. But I saw pride and arrogance in his character because of his knowledge and education. He calls everyone around him, my son or daughter, including me,.I was not offended but with smile I bow to greet him.Something happened and he was able to get to know me and his arrogance was exposed,he ran to me and said " sir, you didn't tell me this when we met and he changed his attitude of referring to me as son and started calling me daddy.I told him,being a pastor,bishop,founder is a title and a privilege to serve the master, that what matters is what does the vessel carries.The scenario brought alive to me again the word of God in 1 Peter 5:5 " Young men,in the same way be submissive to those who are older. All of you. Clothe yourselves with humility towards one another, because God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble". The situation made me become humble the more.Whosoever you are, when it comes to the word of God never puff off,for we only know in part.It is only what the father want you to know and understand  that you have access to.

As I said earlier, our pattern of prayer is going to be based on getting closer the more to God, for when we are what he ordained us to be, everything becomes ours ( healing,favour, honour, provision prosperity,deliverance,victory, what have you).

LET US PRAY: 

1. My God and my father increase my faith the more in Jesus name.

2. Search me oh Lord,and see if there is any iniquity in me, cleanse me now in Jesus name.

3. Jehovah remould and reshape me that I may be that you want me to be for your glory in Jesus name.

4. Every Spirit of pride in my life be destroy now in Jesus name.

5.I receive the garment of holiness that I may live according to your word in Jesus name.

6.Give unto me more grace oh Lord as I humble myself before you in Jesus name.

7. Father,every where I have been looked down on,lift me up to a greater height in Jesus name.

8. I will always have a testimony of your promotion in my life as I live according to your word in Jesus name.
