DAILY PRAYER

 We should be very careful with what God has endowed us with. Everything God allows into our lives is for his purpose. Our experience in life,the people we meet,the people we helped, those that helped us, the one that hurt us, what we possess, our knowledge and skill etc.All of these were given to us by God for a purpose.

Joseph had a dream,his ability to dream was a gift from God and for a purpose.Some people who would like to prove that they are more intelligent than God would have accused Joseph for believing in his dream, forgetting that God's way is not our way. God said to Joseph, the earthly father of Jesus in a dream to carry the child Jesus and ran to Egypt from those that planned to kill him. So every dream or vision that God will ever give to a man will be confirmation of what has been written in the word of God, "the Bible".

Joseph brothers hated him for his dream,thinking how could someone lower. than them in all ramifications based on human judgement rule or lead them.They conspired and sold him to slavery, he was conspired against in his master's house and was thrown to prison.He met the butter and the king cup bearer, all these were for a purpose as ordained by God,I think you all know the story, Joseph later became a prime minister in a foreign land.Joseph understood that nothing would ever happened to a man outside God's counsel.In Genesis 45:5,Joseph said to his brothers who sold him to slavery," Now therefore be not grieved nor angry with yourselves,that ye sold me.,for God did send me before you to preserve life" In Romans 9:17 it is written " for the scriptures says to Pharaoh, I raised you up for this very purpose, that I might display my power in you and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth. So the wealth,the affluence, the power, the knowledge, the kingdom that Pharaoh had was not by his power but God gave it to him for his purpose.The wealth made his hearth to be lifted above the knowledge of God,he thought he got all he had by the strength of his arm..

This scenerio of Pharaoh always create in me the fear of God and always made me to always humble myself in all I do. I constantly saying to him ,that whatever I become in life, whatever is my achievement ,whatever knowledge I have acquire even in his word, he must grant me the grace not to use it to destroy or oppose his counsel on earth , but to let me use every gifts he has given unto me to positively glorify his name 

Read Jeremiah 1:15 and let us pray: 

1. Father, I thank you for all my beings is not hidden from you.

2. Oh Lord my God, open my eyes of understanding to see and make the best use of everything you have given unto me for your glory.

3.I pull down every stronghold of pride that may want to operate in my life in Jesus name.

4.Nations shall called me, a man that the Lord has blessed because of your mercy in Jesus name.

5.I receive the peace in my spirit to feel always happy in doing what you have destined me to do on earth for your name sake.

Sometimes, it's the road less traveled that leads to the most fulfilling destinations. One man explained his experience in a blocked expressway that reflects our journey in life, read on.
