THE SIGNS THAT THE TIME OF CELEBRATION IS NEAR

When the finish line is in sight and time of celebration is approaching, it can be tempting to give in to weariness and doubt. However, it is during these moments of exhaustion and uncertainty that we must press on, for our time of celebration is near. This sentiment is echoed throughout the scriptures, reminding us of the perseverance required to reach our goals and the rewards that await us at the end.
In the book of Galatians, the Apostle Paul writes, "And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up" (Galatians 6:9 ESV). This verse serves as a powerful reminder that even when we feel tired or discouraged, we must not yield to despair. Rather, we must continue steadfastly in our efforts, knowing that our perseverance will eventually lead to the harvest of our labors.
In Ecclesiastes 9:10 (NIV), it is written, "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might." This verse teaches us the importance of giving our best effort until the very end. It reminds us that finishing well requires unwavering commitment and a refusal to give up, even when the end seems distant.
The story of the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32 offers further insight into the importance of staying the course. Although the son squandered his inheritance and found himself in a place of despair, he eventually returned to his father, who celebrated his homecoming with great joy. This parable illustrates that no matter how far we may have strayed or how discouraged we may feel, there is always a chance for redemption and celebration if we persevere.
Jesus himself emphasized the significance of enduring to the end in Matthew 24:13 (ESV), saying, "But the one who endures to the end will be saved." This verse reminds us that the trials and challenges we face are temporary, and that our perseverance is vital for the attainment of eternal rewards.
When we approach the finish line, let us remember these biblical teachings. Instead of giving in to weariness or doubt, let us draw inspiration from the scriptures and press on with renewed determination. Our time of celebration may be just around the corner, and by staying the course, we can experience the fullness of joy and fulfillment that awaits us.
As we approach the end of the year 2023, no matter where you are at the fulfilment of your anticipating vision, don't give up, your time of celebration is around the corner. cheer up.
