FOUNDATION NEEDED FOR A SUCCESSFUL MARRIAGE/RELATIONSHIP

 A peaceful and successful marriage doesn't just happened, you must work for it to happen. Majority of people devote their time and energy to the success of their business, they never realised that even to succeed in marriage required more energy than what is given to business success. From my years of over four decades practical experience in this institution called marriage, I discovered, it is a training school where you keep on learning new things every time, you never graduate from it till one lives this earth. I discovered what was missing in majority of marriages that is bringing rancour, separation and divorce. That one thing which is the solid blocks for the foundation of a successful marriage is vision.People will never enter into business deal without setting their vision for the business but not their marriages. I came from a polygamous set up where I witnessed marriage abuse between my parent, the competition among wives , step brothers and sisters. From that youthful age I made up my mind not to practice polygamy.that I will not allow myself to be provoke to the level of abusing my spouse.I promised myself to make my home a heaven on earth where my family can have the freedom to express themselves without prejudice.I will be ready to live by example and allow individual to make their choice.

That was the vision that led me to the type of spouse I married.There is no marriage that is hundred percent perfect , I had a lots of issues that would have led to divorce but my vision kept me on  tract and the type of joy and hamony I planned for, I found it in my home.

If you don't have a vision for the type of marriage you wants, drop everything you are doing now and write down your vision.

Vision of how you want your home to be

Vision of how to relate with third parties

Get your spouse involve and agreed on them if you are already married, if you are not yet married, let your finance be aware of it and he or she can add his or her own vision.

This is what will keep on propelling you on how you behave within this institution called marriage.
