JESUS IS NO MORE ON THE CROSS

One thing we must know and hold on to as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ is that He is no more on the cross.
Jesus Is Alive: Any picture that portrays Jesus Christ on the cross is not preaching the Gospel truth.  Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose up again because death has no power over Him. The Bible says in Romans 6:9, "knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him." So it is enough to have only empty cross that symbolizes Christianity instead of having Jesus Christ still hanging there. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 15:14, "And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith also is empty."
No picture of Jesus or any other deity should be worshipped as an idol. Idolatry is prohibited in Deuteronomy 4:16, which states, "You shall not act corruptly and make for yourselves a carved image in the form of ANY figure." Such images include Jesus on the cross, or any likeness of male or female. Instead, we must remember that Jesus rose again and died no more (Romans 6:9). Our faith is rooted on the fact that Christ defeated death (1 Corinthians 15:14); displaying Him on a cross would be misleading and effectively empty our preaching.
The Bible clearly states in Exodus 20:5 that God is a jealous God, and thus anyone who bows to images or pictures of Jesus Christ, such as those created by artists or depictions of film actors, is committing the grievous sin of idolatry. We can only get the real picture of Jesus Christ when we meet Him in heaven or when He returns for His second coming, as stated in 1 John 3:2. Therefore it is important that we do not fall into these errors, and instead pray that we are able to see Jesus as He truly is

Happy Easter celebration.
